Nope. It's about outrageous scam claiming earning tons of money. Most importantly where does the money come from to give to people? This is no sense. Public education and media must spread the message not to let innocent people get cheated. The society will be crumbled, if this is worsen.Originally posted by kramnave:wah lao..might as well ask govt to rule the internet..if govt can do that..speakers corner wun be here liao![]()
No. Brother Bear. I had a friend who join these scheme, failed to get back his money. I felt discontent and feel the need to alert the public to these issues not to see innocent people suffered.Originally posted by the Bear:are these the same authorities you want to complain about to the UN?

I have been receiving leaflets or emails on how to make money online and become a millionaire through internet. How come there are so many of these scam? How does it work?
Are we Singaporean so easily fooled by these internet/affiliate marketing? It is hard to believe to earn money through internet other than real life work, or item trading.
Where does these money came from and how these people become millionaire? I really don't understand. I suggest these schemes or activities must be monitored by [b]MAS, CPIB, ACRA or CAD.
Moreover, these scams doesn't even contribute to GDP economic growth to a country which is a lost to the society, pollute the public mindset and interest. They are not even group as IT or Services industries.
We Singaporean must be educated and vigilant not to fall to the internet scams.

frankly, no one can legislate for stupidity... or ignorance...
and if your friend joins these schemes, half-baked like your post about getting the UN involved in singapore's sovereign matters... uhh.. let's just say if he keeps jumping in without finding out, it'll happen again and again and again...
you too.. go find out, do some basic research before shooting off your mouth..
