I remember her saying that her parents are migrating to australia as well. not sure if this is still the plan. I think back in January this year, she was talking about a new job http://www.sgforums.com/?action=thread_display&thread_id=234690 and about 6 to 9 months, she is now saying that she is going to take up a scholorship in Brisbane. I guess she should be glad that her parents have made the right decision to stay in singapore.Originally posted by Daddy!!:someone emigrated to australia, said she was doing well and at the same time talked about it was too expensive for her to pay for her children's education in australia and hence no way for her to have children. she said mortgage last longer than marriage. a load of c.rap and a load of "lying" personality.![]()

then she said her parents would join her at her down under boding place and she actually derived pride from it, not knowing that her parents are sobbing behind her back because of her sickeningly negative attitude towards the world.
Well, student or not....you do have a better life than your contemporaries back in little red dot.....just study hard and you never know what comes your ways......I just bought a new apt in Lynn Valley...unfortunately we do get taxed crazy here but we oh well....its the adventure in going cross state to do your shopping that counts huh....anyway study hard....and should you need help, there are loads of ex red dots around...Originally posted by Quincey:Nah, I'm just a student @ UBC and East Van's the nearest I could afford, rent in Van West is just too high for me.
Oh yeah, for you it's good, for me not so, I have to pay my school fees in Sing dollars! But haha, I was really tempted to go across to Seattle for the black friday sale though. My room mates went, coming back today, hopefully they dun get taxed like crazy while going through customs.

hello b.itch
on one hand, you trumpet the free education + health. On the other hand, you talked about not having children because it is too expensive. ONE of which is a LIE
Pot calling kettle black. Except the Pot is truly burnt while the kettle is not.Originally posted by Gazelle:Singaporeans who make it big overseas will never talk down Singapore and Singaporeans like this sillyporean. Hence it is up to you to believe what this wanker has to say, especially a wanker that talk so much and yet dont even have a roof above his head (pathatic isnt it? especially if you consider that house and land are so cheap in canada)
nah..just wondering what happen to your beautiful plan of bringing your parents to australia for retirement?Originally posted by fymk:LOL . If anyone who has passed simple english comprehension - they would have understood that I was asking for an opinion.

Anything else to spite or twist my words?
So now taking a doctorate is so bad in your eyes huh?

You are a rather uncouth person for someone who claims that he is a professional.Originally posted by Gazelle:actually you and lampar will make a good couple..
Professional P.I.M.P. lah, he listen to 50 cents too much.Originally posted by fymk:You are a rather uncouth person for someone who claims that he is a professional.
Don't tell me that you talk to your customers that way.
Are you financially capable for taking care of your parents? or do they need to sell away all their asset in singapore to migrate to australia?Originally posted by fymk:ooooh that. For a fact : they already have permanent residency in Australia.
They already acquired the freedom to enter, stay as long as they like and leave as they wish .
Now it is just up to my sibling to decide. If she stays, everybody settles in Australia. I am not the only child - my parents like to be fair to both sides.
Anything else to say?
reason for saying that is because both of you hate singapore so much. I am sure you will have alot in common to talk about. beside that, you are still single isnt it?Originally posted by fymk:You are a rather uncouth person for someone who claims that he is a professional.

Are you financially capable of taking care of your parents? Do they need to sell away their assets to live with your wife and you or help you buy the second hand audi for wife?Originally posted by Gazelle:Are you financially capable for taking care of your parents? or do they need to sell away all their asset in singapore to migrate to australia?
I don't hate Singapore. That's for the record.Originally posted by Gazelle:reason for saying that is because both of you hate singapore so much. I am sure you will have alot in common to talk about. beside that, you are still single isnt it?
I will take that as a NO.Originally posted by fymk:Are you financially capable of taking care of your parents? Do they need to sell away their assets to live with your wife and you or help you buy the second hand audi for wife?
What? You can't support your parents?Originally posted by Gazelle:I will take that as a NO.
2.For the records, neither do i hate western countries.Originally posted by fymk:I don't hate Singapore. That's for the record.
I grew up in Singapore. If I truly hated Singapore, I would not even be in this forum. I had good memories in Singapore. If any Singaporean does anything well or great , the credit will still go in part to Singapore.
I just don't like PAP policies and their minions. They used to work for the people but now it's different. You don't see it my way but I already see it , Singapore ain't staying afloat for the next few decades with those quick fix solutions.
Info hub ,
medical hub,
telecommunications hub, ,
manufacturing hub,
biomedical hub -
any of those hub succeeded yet? No because Singapore produce hubs like rabbits .
Instead India overtaken Singapore in being the info hub of Asia. Who suffers? The Singaporeans. Each time there is a new hub , they open courses to fill that hub. When that hub is not as fast growing as they expect, they ditch those poor people who trusted their government to enrol in those courses.
The only hubs they got going for them is the tourism hub which has been developed for a very long time . A port of call which has been there since the start of Singapore. Those are the hubs which have been there over time.
Does it matter if I am single or not? Yes I am single .So?

I am sure your parents will understand your financial situation.Originally posted by fymk:What? You can't support your parents?
Ai yo , don't buy second hand Audi lah.
One phrase for you - subclass 143 ( migrant) - their PR VISA.
Here's the reference for you to look at : http://www.immi.gov.au/media/fact-sheets/39contributory_parent.htm
Look at their conditions before you start making me laugh like crazy.
As yours will understand your situation ,too.Originally posted by Gazelle:I am sure your parents will understand your financial situation.
I agree with this. A good and interesting debate has been turned into vitriolic cyber-combat. And fymk, I think you should not respond to any provocation. Your life is your life, and you do not have to share any details with anyone online, for they have no right to know.Originally posted by Kuali Baba:How much more mud do you people want to sling at one another, and drag yourselves to new lows? *This applies to people on both sides, in case your faculty of comprehension is lacking*
