loved every moment of it. one time we were checking into a bed and breakfast at brisbane and met an elderly couple there who were holidaying too.
we got along so well, we went to visit them at their home town and they showed us around.
the town is really cool la, u can leave your windows open and car unlocked, and its still safe.
sydney was really good too. perth was alright. some places are a little racists la, i forgot which part. but sydney was really the bomb.

Vacation - of course the country has to project a positive experience for tourists or else they won't come back.
If you are local - urm experience is different , coz you are already trapped!
Last time I went back to Singapore, the immigration officers were more of bo chup - take a look at me , stamp and say ok go. I would not call them rude , I wanted to get out , they looked like they were so bored stamping. It worked out fine.
When I returned to Australia with the pr stamp on my singaporean passport, I was waiting in line while hearing the immigration officer scolding an Australian for showing his irish passport on the other partitioned side . LOL. He was like " When you enter Australia, USE THE AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT." to the poor guy (all of us in the other line could hear it) . Before lionnoisy takes it out of context , it is because Australians can hold dual citizenship . -
