Pretty pathetic how u have to rely on international students for it though lolOriginally posted by robertteh:A very good start to revive Singapore democracy. It is a good news for all Singaporeans. Celebrate our democracy too on that day by wearing red.
what else can you expect from dishonorable despotic dictators?Originally posted by googoomuck:Also expect the red buses to arrive at the scene.![]()
Yes, I agree that it is pathetic of our own students keeping silent as onlookers leaving it to others to fight for their own rights and freedoms hoping to stay in good book to land a good job with the power that be upon graduation.Originally posted by jondizzle foshizzle:Pretty pathetic how u have to rely on international students for it though lol
Singaporeans not only lack the quality to fight for their own political rights, they are too timid, inward looking to do anything to help to allow themselves a better future. They are very shortsighted as well.Originally posted by robertteh:Yes, I agree that it is pathetic of our own students keeping silent as onlookers leaving it to others to fight for their own rights and freedoms hoping to stay in good book to land a good job with the power that be upon graduation.
It is just like the many here who are pathetically and shamelessly siding with the power that be to be on the safe side forsaking the suffering caused by suppression to their own fellow citizens just to safeguard their own career or some material gain.
Li Ao is right again - Singaporeans lack the quality to fight for their own political rights.

Shut up will you, stop your shouting kid! You are not asking smart questions but keep attacking. Stop your nuisance if you don't even have the maturity, objectivity and sensibility to discusss. How well do you know me? Do I need to report to you what I have done?Originally posted by kramnave:Singaporeans not only lack the quality to fight for their own political rights, they are too timid, inward looking to do anything to help to allow themselves a better future. What wrong did i say ?
1) You are Singaporean are you not ?
2) You believe you have some political rights that is worth fighting for.
3) By attaining these political rights you believe it allows for a better future.
4) By not fighting for your rights and beliefs, you have put yourself into that category you just described: lack quality, timid, inward looking, shortsighted etc
i'll just modify that statement of yours alright...Originally posted by qlqq9:Shut up will you, stop your shouting kid! You are not asking smart questions but keep attacking.
