Marbok Tan, the most error-prone minister

When he lost to CST way back in 1984, he should have been asked to leave the party.
Instead, he went on to become the transport minister, during which he screwed up the bus and rail system. Later on, he made the national development portfolio look bad with his comments about upgrading opposition wards.
I have never seen such a gaffe-prone minister in my life. His awarding of the NEL to SBS(T) was a big mistake. Common sense dictates that subways are better off being a natural monopoly. The subsequent events led to the demise of Tibs Holdings and the once-high standards of SMRT Corp going downhill.
If any resident in SMRT-controlled estates feel the same as me, feel free to add on. -
What it should have been in 1999:
SMRT allowed to keep subway monopoly, Tibs left untouched.
No NW for NE swap as we know it, instead BPJ return to SBS while HGN comes under Tibs. -

But then it was Marbok Tan's incompetence that made BPJ so messy. His successor YCT did nothing to improve connectivity in BPJ or his own CCK electorate.
I would rather SMRT bought out the NEL, SKLRT and PGLRT lines and sold off its bus ops to sWAn Transit. At least ang mo bus coy got better management. -

I somehow dislike Wong Kan Seng more, he seems insignificant. Perhaps MBT is more disliked as he "duo zuo duo cuo" and Wong Kan Seng "Mei zuo jiu mei you cuo" . Maybe i'm wrong but....
Then again after 911 he kinda you know, crushed JI in Sg..if it can be attributed to him... -

That is the reason why I keep saying the PAP is giving the public substandard performance. They don't care about the results of the election, as long as they are in power they will do whatever that please them by ignoring the public and those who vote for them.
