Why is MM Lee telling the whole world how good he is?

All fear except fear of heaven come from guilt. This common feeling of guilt and inadequacy derive from the need to correct and mend fundamental problems.
Aren't tweaking of laws or talking to the whole world about how good they are as leaders also in the same breath expressing their own anxiety and lack of faith in what they are doing which are below par of truly advanced countries practising human rights and freedoms which win them citizens' loyalty.
Such feeling of inadequacy comes from the need to conceal many problems caused by their own unmotivating system of top-down governing system causing the whole country to become divided. A house divided is a house doomed to failure.
If they as leaders govern with a big heart and willing to forgive political foes or people for criticisms of their wrongful NKF practices is there still the need to speak to media to blame people, prempt criticisms of international communities or other bigger problems due to their narrow-minded self-serving governing.
If the fundamentals in governing are not clearly tackled with systems offering better and accountable checking on their wrongful policies of taxing and profiteering then they will continue to have to blow their own trumpet to justify all kinds of mistakes and deny solving problems. -

MM Lee and gang can say and defend for themselves but they can never escape the judgement from God and whatever Gods know what they are doing and up to. They are reaping their selfish fruit of labour now but no for long for everybody will face judgement after he or she leaves the world.
It is of guilty conscious that they are saying things to cover their asses. They have ignored their conscience and go on to do whatever please them at our expense.
Let the foreign media continue to expose this selfish, autocratic regime. Let them expose the deeds of the father and son. -

Manpower is an economic resource leh, especially educated workforce.
Like I said, these days technological know-how is worth more than some physical resources. Silicon can be converted to semi-conductors for computers. The crude oil is refined in Jurong Island to form the different kinds of fuel. -

What is your definition of anarchy?
From my limited knowledge and resources, I came up with the below.
1. a state of society without government or law.
2. political and social disorder due to the absence of governmental control: The death of the king was followed by a year of anarchy.
3. a theory that regards the absence of all direct or coercive government as a political ideal and that proposes the cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society.
4. confusion; chaos; disorder: Intellectual and moral anarchy followed his loss of faith.
So with "peaceful" protest, the government will dissolve and cease to exist and anarchy will ensue?
We don't even have the right to have more than 5 people going out as a group, of course this is subject to interpretation of the law, but if you take it word for word from the interpretation of the penal code, it's a violation.
Why not you form a group of 10 (wearing same t-shirt with slogans like "Democracy for Singapore") and walk around Raffles City today?
See if you get arrested.

We might as well ban the knife, though a knife is used for cooking, one thing might lead to another and somebody will end up killing someone with it. A similar scenario like your peaceful protest. -

You protest because you are angry! Anger is like the knife. If you let out your anger at home, where nobody sees, then it's your business. But if you take that anger and bring it out in public and you protests. Then its like bringing a knife in public. Then people think you want to rob them, so they call the police. Same as protest, you do it in public, wait monkey see, monkey do, then more people protest. so its bad! for society.
