Are you whining about whiners?Originally posted by cutie-pie:keep whining - thats all you can ever do
Big difference. This thread is a deeper analysis on what causes our lack of talents and what should ministers do to restore faith in the whole system going forward for the good of all.Originally posted by kramnave:Whats the major differences between this thread and the minister pay apple to apple thread and the sticky that talks about minister pay.
The gist is still about the salary that they are earning now lah..keep it in one thread lah..Originally posted by robertteh:Big difference. Without restoring their moral authority they cannot lead properly with the fullest support of the people. 66.6 is not enough.
And who takes over ?Originally posted by qlqq9:No need to reflect, they know and we all know they serve the public because of money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Of course, they will not be so upfront to tell us they are in politics because of money. From what we see, it is obvious they are in the job for the sake of money. If it is not because of money they would not be so daring to pay themselves undeserved super high world class salary.
If politicians serve the public with the motive of earning tons and tons of money they have better off quit. By harbouring the wrong motive of earning tons of money, their hearts are not there to serve the public with sacrifice, compassion, commitment and love for the people. I should say the present bunch of ministers and MPs from PAP should just quit for they are without what I mentioned above.
What cutie pie is that, I have not tasted, is it nice or unpleasant. Hey, you go read what you posted - you are whining!!!Originally posted by cutie-pie:keep whining - thats all you can ever do
Why don't you answer the question as well? I believe there will be people/party who are willing to take over. Shall we appoint you as our PM?Originally posted by kramnave:And who takes over ?
No I don't have what it takes. I don't know who can or who is willing. Today if you ask Low Thia Khiang or Chiam See Tong, i'm not sure if they will and are ready to take over at this point of time.Originally posted by qlqq9:Why don't you answer the question as well? Really, Singapore needs people who are dedicated, who care to serve the people with genuine hearts to take over. WE need new blood as well.Originally posted by kramnave:No I don't have what it takes. Let the who is who come later. Let us not worry too much about who will come and serve us till later.Originally posted by kramnave:And who takes over ?
Thus, if you are never going to trust the ruling party, it is necessary for the opposition to increase in strength slowly.Originally posted by qlqq9:Really, Singapore needs people who are dedicated, who care to serve the people with genuine hearts to take over. WE need new blood as well.
If the answer is honest people can see the honesty too I am sure. If they try to be hypocrite they will be detected as well. There is no absolutely correct or right answer. Probably ministers will be perceived as those with passion to serve and those without.Originally posted by reddressman:Hello!
1st, allow me say I enjoy Robert Teh's postings.
To answer the topic question, unfortunately I can only reply with another question:
Who would say publicly they serve becos of money ?
But I get your point. Just like to add that only.

I sonmehow find that among the ministers in the cabinet, the MND has lost track on the thing he need to do by deviating to world cup.Originally posted by robertteh:Big difference. If you were talking about goal 2010 and GCT's observation about how France won the world cup with African players, notice that it was the gateway to having more FTs across the board. Perhaps it wasn't about only sports they had in mind. It was just a convenient and softer way to bring the message across. The main message being if we want to win anything as whole, we should bring in FTsOriginally posted by will4:I sonmehow find that among the ministers in the cabinet, the MND has lost track on the thing he need to do by deviating to world cup.
