i suggest reviving the Sg at War forum. it served its purpose well and it was indeed, host to a series of very lively discussions.
the current situation is chaotic! every cuckoo wants to start a discussion on a narrow topic and there are often less than 10 replies to any topic before it dies from lack of interest.

why don't we consolidate ALL defence related discussions under ONE topic. its a lot more productive and interesting this way.
I beg to differ
- The topic, due to it size, runs slowly and it's gotta get worst
- Tonnes of flaming msgs around. Childish remarks and stuff......by both singaporeans and malaysians........
- Messy, too emotional, no direction
- The name says it all....."Singapore at war".......it will spark more flame from new forumers......
- No moderation and moderators.....no difference.
- Seperated topic makes it easier to look for the things you want..........imagine you have to scroll through the hundreads of pages just to look for info on twin engine jets or m113 on spikes.
-A Topic will lack interest a eventually over time (eg....who wants to talk about titanic now?) and 10 person replying to it is already sufficient if the intended message and discussion is fruitful......in fact numbers doesn't mean anything..........it's the topic that counts. (eg. Who would want to rebutte HARIMAU again for the things he posted that is dated AUG 2002? He probably even forgot that he posted it)
-Imagine having your english, maths, geography, chemisty....etc all in the SAME book.....

-only a cuckoo will post 10000 msg in a topic until it blows the database system......
