Claim substantiated. Ask any scientist if petroleum industry will have some form of pollution - all will say yes. Even Daddy!! agreed that oil refinery emits some form of pollutants.
And for questioning the environmental impact management - why not? No one has been answering the question but some of you choosing to go on the offensive.
Well , as far as I am concerned , with a person who claims to be Singaporean, you are a fine example of genetic pollution with your logic. Why did you think even another forumner , rooki ,went so kindly to explain to you what those industries emit ?
The reason why I asked is because I used to live in Jurong when I was young.
So until you live there everyday of your life . Talk to me .

You may want to know that there is a university in Jurong even before Jurong was developed into an industrial area, formerly known as NU, now NTU. Thousands of academics and professionals lived there (due to its distance from the city) before they graduated. The fact that these graduates continue to succeed in life having spent min 3 years there prove that your retarded mind is definitely not due to any pollution in Jurong where you used to live. No need to talk to you. If you don't believe, ask any NUS researchers.![]()

Answer to the environmental impact management of refineries was given, offensive? please elaborate on why the environment impact management of the refineries in Singapore is insufficient. We have many scientists there prepared to answer the issues. Bring up the issues so there can be debates and discussion. Your style of Po Fu Ma Jie doesn't work.![]()
If you don't have any more to say about the environment impact management of the refineries in Singapore, or why the "latest catch for Singapore" is no good for Singapore, really don't bother to write. Argument without substance is diarrhea of the brain, it is a pollutant to a forum. Just don't think that your s h i t s don't stink.![]()

btw, physical and biological science are different from political science, our field of studies are much more varied and complicated as matters of the world, our researches are therefore more specific and our reports cannot be used for twisting and turning in argument.Originally posted by LazerLordz:For someone who wasn't even born in Singapore, he sure talks like one of the many asinine fellows who doesn't know when to stop arguing.

The one who quoted NUS researchers out of context ought to take a lesson on how a misquotation could be abused before his credibility runs out completely. Believe he didn't graduate from NUS.![]()

Next time pick on the mistakes of the government, single out the exploitation of MNC, highlight observations in the Singaporean society that may require changes, suggest good things you experienced in oz that could also be good for Singapore, wake up the singaporeans who never learn to appreciate. think through and give balanced views, your views would be well appreciated. Any posts with intention to run us down will be dealth with accordingly, for the force is with us.Originally posted by fymk:It's a she.
You twisted and turned facts- first refineries don't cause pollution then no pollution then you say no health effect so not considered pollution - basically you are making yourself look dumber .
I don't need to graduate from NUS - hey whatever . You are no university graduate , judging by your lack of critical thinking. I don't expect to see you publishing anything at all except your nonsensical views in the forum.
Hey it's all fine with me. I got better things to do then say anything further to you.
God save Singapore!!Originally posted by sgdiehard:Next time pick on the mistakes of the government, single out the exploitation of MNC, highlight observations in the Singaporean society that may require changes, suggest good things you experienced in oz that could also be good for Singapore, wake up the singaporeans who never learn to appreciate. think through and give balanced views, your views would be well appreciated. isnt it obvious that your objective in this thread and forum is to shoot singapore down whereever and whenever you can.Originally posted by fymk:LOL no point . Either way you all don't listen and the result remains that you will start accusing me of dissention.
What you really want is for me to sing praises of Singapore incessantly and blindly.
Sorry , no can do. I rather be honest to myself.
