Singapore is fine for some but not fine for others. That I can agree. I can agree with some of your statements.
I am just making a point about some elements who have nothing better to do but paste something offensive about another country without have an experience of living in that country.

Minorities are minorities for a reason. But Australia is a meritocracy that has worked comparatively well.

For me, my stand is neutral. I would base my calculations and conclusions on hard facts then on opinions. No matter how much I proclaim that the living standards are higher in Germany, there are certain things that you cannot really calculate, for eg, whether you can merge into the society, whether you will be despised, your friends, family, children, etc.... There are still many unexpected and intangible factors around
From what I see people who migrate have their valid reasons, likewise those who stay on also have their valid reasons. Most who stay on do so because they have no $$$$ or opportunity to go.
There is really no need to go all the way to talk people out of their plans of migrating, it is our life, we live our own life.
