aiyah, I not writing a paper or anything... so I wouldn't bother to make sure every single piece of information is in... just plug in the holes here and there, and admit it when I made a mistake, that's all.Originally posted by fymk:Ah but Eagle , you forgot to mention when people asks the migrants for opinions of another country , there are certain elements who , without provocation, will attempt to portray migrants as dissidents attempting to trick others into migrating.
Even though those elements who claim to love Singapore so deeply, couldn't be bothered to know what is written in the Constitution of Singapore. So I would question those elements.
Then there are those who cut and paste sensationalist western articles in an assumingly well intentioned but seriously misguided feeble minded attempt to dissuade others from leaving.
That makes the forum fun.

You are funny. The truth is the power lies with the whites in Australia. You dont seem to face it. Try putting an Asian as the Prime Minister there then we talk.Originally posted by LazerLordz:
An Asian in Australia is more likely to be Lord Mayor of Melbourne, a Senator, a Senior Economist in the Treasury. Not to mention living in a upper class income bracket too.
For someone who's not lived there, or have family from there, you really take liberties with your opinions like it's free tap water.
The power in Singapore is not as fairly spread out as well. But that is not the same as saying our minorities are 4th class as you would say about Asians in Australia.Originally posted by Daddy!!:You are funny. Eagle, thought you just finished your exams here, you mean you just recently migrated to Germany or you went there for study?Originally posted by eagle:whether people migrate a not, it is ultimately their decision. However, for people who migrated to send complains of Singapore back to Singapore, it is to me
1) a sign of mocking of people who want to stay here
2) a sign that they are rich enough to migrate
3) a sign that they are trying to justify their own actions, both to others and most importantly, to themselves
Of course, they may have valid reasons, or have done substantial analysis and calculations for their decision.
For me, my stand is neutral. I would base my calculations and conclusions on hard facts then on opinions. No matter how much I proclaim that the living standards are higher in Germany, there are certain things that you cannot really calculate, for eg, whether you can merge into the society, whether you will be despised, your friends, family, children, etc.... There are still many unexpected and intangible factors around

I studied German for a few years, been there for an immersion and a student exchange.Originally posted by qlqq9:Eagle, thought you just finished your exams here, you mean you just recently migrated to Germany or you went there for study?
From what I see people who migrate have their valid reasons, likewise those who stay on also have their valid reasons. Most who stay on do so because they have no $$$$ or opportunity to go.
There is really no need to go all the way to talk people out of their plans of migrating, it is our life, we live our own life.
Take care of yourself there and good luck.
Ha ha ha, no wonder so sour and bitter!Originally posted by fymk:He probably got kicked out of Australia for some misdemeanor hence that view.
What about exchange citizenship with the FTs?Originally posted by fymk:Singapore has alot of good things about her but the government is not too focused on its citizens.

Wow, you are good hit the nail on the head! Clap clap.Originally posted by jondizzle foshizzle:Have you even been there? No? Well then how the f*ck would you know? Dumb cunt.
Do you plan to go back there? Working with Germans before, they can be tough, but in general nice to work with.Originally posted by eagle:I studied German for a few years, been there for an immersion and a student exchange.
