I would like to see 25% of our local ministers job going to FT.

a)Sorry wrong choice of words. SMEs higher less people. Labour intensive not the correct phrase. NMCs hire alot more people. (comparing within the same industry). Lets say, the 25% quota of FT. NMCs will save more, due to economies of scale. Again, assuming the firm in question is using FTs to save cost. Which is the point of this thread. Where an MP in the 1st post said that there is a danger of Firms using FTs as a cost takedown measure. c)Thats your opinion, not mine. I believe its due to the fact that we have cheap skilled labour. The Govt knows that, which is why they are trying to keep wages low, buy the "widening the doors". Which is again, the title of this thread.
d)The influx of investors create jobs (which will contribute to GDP increase, which is what the Govt is aiming for). Not enough local residents willing to work for the packages these companies are giving. Here comes the injection of FTs to fill the gap to sustain the GDP growth. Which is was what I was trying to say. But yeah, lets skip it. I just explained for the benefit of anyone else who would misunderstand. (Edit: which goes back to point A, where companies have an option of using FTs as a cheap way out) -
The sickening PAP is just giving excuse to bring in more FTs that is all. As the Chinese saying goes "fingers bending outwards not inwards". They the PAP are all for FTs, they make Singapore the land of FTs. These sickening ungrateful PAP does not give a damn about the contribution by locals to thinki they owe us the responsibility as our gahmen to protect our rice bowl.
Ng Eng Hen has not been helpful to the locals since he takes over as minister for manpower. He is just another self centred, bloodsucking and hopeless scumbag like th rest of the PAP. -

As a business owner, this is labor heaven....now we have more to choose from where previously there was little or none. Think of it as your gahmen achieving its aim of supporting the local economy by lowering business cost and also to cast its net wider to help increase the population target to 6.5mil thru citizenship conversion. There is nothing that the locals can do about it...this is globalization.....your gahmen is telling you subtly either to accept it or ship out. -

Before eng hen cameout with this pile of nuisance, my friend told me his company is small with 15 staff. Among the 15 staff, there are only three (3) Singaporeans employed in the Company, the rest of them are FTs.
Now the eng hen is getting more FTs to make locals lose their rice bowls. Remember what one does, what goes around, comes around, what goes up must come down. -

Saw the way he met the people in his constituency. He is superficial and gives the impression that he will not go all the way to help people, he will only do the job as he is paid to do the job. I can't detect any sense of commitment he has to serve the people with his utmost effort.
When he first became the minister, I kind of think well of him. AFter watching him on the CNA programme I mentioned above, I changed my mind about him. -

Second generation PR for male need to serve NS like locals. They have up
to eighteen years old to decided whether to serve NS or give up their PR.
For local no choice need to serve but second generation PR male if decided to give up their PR, they need not serve NS n no repercussion. -

There are already so many bleedy foreigners and they want to let more in! I have seriously started to hate Singapore and feel more and more a sense of alienation. I never felt this way before. Sure, I would gripe about the bleedy PAP but Singapore, I love with patriotic zeal. The flame is slowly being extinguished.
Always saying things like Singaporeans are fussy, this and that job, don't want to do so have to bring in foreigners. You pay us well enough, you think we won't do the job? The cost of living is high here. With foreigners, they get subsidized or even free housing, subsidized makan etc. Who subsidizes what for Singaporeans? The ones who are getting rich are the bleedy foreigners, the souless corporations and the f.uc.k.ing ministers who even if they took a 75% paycut would still be indecently overpaid. They know how to enjoy big fat pay but the rest of us must watch it otherwise Singapore will lose our competitive edge!!! -
