Whether which i feel should have to route, whichever can promise better value to commuters has my vote.
Dont know much about backgrounds of both companies. Just guessing that the company that gets picked is the one that has more intimate ties with the ruling cadre, e.g. close friends or relatives on the B.O.D or as a shareholder.

And you feel that the SG govt will make their decision based on the same or similar criteria as the M'sian govt?Originally posted by Gazelle:This is not about being bitter, this is business.
The reason why I didnt reply to you earlier post is because AirAsia is not related to MAS or the government and they are likely to fly the Sin-KL route.
Yes, they have done so by not awarding any of the IRs projects to GLCs and I am sure they will do the same if it benefit Singapore.Originally posted by Jontst78:And you feel that the SG govt will make their decision based on the same or similar criteria as the M'sian govt?

I don't think Aust Govt would open up the transpacific route to us.... they scare piss of their own Airline. Btw..... the S'pore-KL route doesn't earn as much as the Aust-US route.....Originally posted by Gazelle:unless if Australia government is willing to open up the transpacific route to SIA.
Qantas just got fined for price-fixing scandal in the USA, what a shame.Originally posted by hloc:I don't think Aust Govt would open up the transpacific route to us.... they scare piss of their own Airline. Btw..... the S'pore-KL route doesn't earn as much as the Aust-US route.....
