If indonesia disintegrates like the soviet union into many mini states, what disadvantages and advantages will it bring to singapore?

I have not seen any plans to destroy Indonesia and break it up into smaller states for easier control, but there are some circles toying around with the idea of liquidating the states in the middle east and breaking them up into smaller weaker states for easy control of oil:

We need more evidence to see whether there is truth in such interpretations. -
if the republic dissolves
possible scenerios :
1) Aceh
2)Bali
3)Irian Jaya
4)Sulawesi
will move to become independant nations
not too sure what would happen to Sumatera , Java , Kalimantan, and the other islands.
For one thing there would be chaos because much of the security forces which are based in the many provinces are not locals. With no central govt it would eventually lead to kind of feudal war system... -
It is in our interest to let Indonesia stay this way for the next 50 years because in the 90s Indonesia and Malaysia conducted a military exercise around Singapore borders during our national day.
The leaders then were contemplating an Islamic super state back then and we cannot say it will never happen again. -
Singapore has strong military ties with Thailand and Australia.
Thailand to check Malaysia and Australia to check Indonesia.
And also USA's naval forces in the region-- something I do not support. -
Ah pek.---
Their Air Force and navy ok, but the army is very tiny....how to check an expansionist Indonesia?
