I wish to point out.. Civil Servants do not get 15k per month for nothing.
The ladder they have to climb.
The starting hurdles they have to overcome
The decisive decisions they have to make
The ability to perserve on
The ability to command your colleagues
The ability to ensure everything goes on smoothly
They do not get 15k starting pay
But they climb, slowly, year by year, testimonials by testimonials, decisions by decisions, change of vocations, change of departments. When they achieve the feat of having 15k pm. Most of them are not young lads anymore. -

Thats why PAP will have a landslide victorious win in the next general elections (with or without LKY). -
I agree with RobertTeh. Civil servants like teachers are the worst of the lot. Highly overpaid doing a job that any idiot in the street can do. They don't deserve so much money.
We should trim down the civil service. -

It's not such an easy job as you think these days.
