  Going back to the main topic of this thread. (trying to make it idiot-proof here)
  
  TS suggested Going to join the Army if unable or unwilling to compete with FTs.
  
  Question to TS:
  
  How would a resident worker(s) aged 30-50 yrs, with less than tertiary education join the Army?

  Singapore Civil Service , as I said before, considers all applicants of any nationality as long as it does not involve work that is security sensitive.

  So how would you know that civil service in a foreign country will consist of a dumping ground for their citizens? Got experience working in a foreign country? You can imply and twist your words all you want.
  
  At least I have the experience of permanent employment in Singapore and Australia. What about you? Business trips in a foreign country don't count.
  
  Even I won't say that Singapore Civil service is a dumping ground. Singapore Civil Servants have to work for their money and they do free overtime as well.

  Yes, thats why you see alot of poor Americans fighting in Iraq and most middle eastern citizens are working as civil servants instead of private sector.

  I said you degraded the Singaporean civil service and Singaporean citizens as well as the Singaporean army. At least I don't degrade any civil service of any country at all.
