Is it possible to convert to PR easily?

  Hi,
  
  Its me again.
  
  we know PRs are welcomed so much.
  
  we also know its very easy to be PR, compared to basically anywhere else.
  
  we also know that PRs have almost all the privileges as citizens with some exceptions like only citizens get to enjoy serving.
  
  I was thinking, can a citizen request to help fill the PR vacancy by converting his citizen to PR? Like this is to help provide the much needed PR.
  
  Also, the condition is that must be having skills of market demand.
  Like this no excuse not on par with PR.
  
  So, how can a citizen convert to PR as easily as a FT becomes a PR?

  Surrendering your Singaporean citizenship will result in alot of difficulty acquiring Singaporean PR in the future, or even taking back your citizenship. That is unless you are a talent that Singapore cannot afford to lose.

  Sorry, but I feel the due diligence to inform you that the term you used "Singaporeans PR" may not be technically correct.
  
  I do not think such a term exist.
  
  What I think you mean is "Singapore PR".
  
  Singaporean = citizen.
  
  PR <> citizen.
  
  but what is also true is EMPLOYMENT statistics is based on RESIDENT where RESIDENT is not just citizens. Its comprised in a large number of PRs. Where a PR is a foreigner who has some skills able to land them a job and applied through his boss help.
  
  as simple as that.

  A Singaporean resident can be either a Permanent Resident of Singapore or citizens. A Singaporean permanent resident = Singapore permanent resident.
  
  Doesn't matter which way you go - meaning is the same. For example in Australia, you can be an Australian Permanent Resident who is not an Australian citizen.

  why not migrate to australia?

  I also have been hearing it is easy for foreign proffesional especially those under category of employment pass to apply for PR.
