  I'm thinking ASEAN with so many problems even Europe went thru 2 world wars before setting up EURO
  will Warlords comeback if ASEAN fails?

  ASEAN is still more of a concept than any concrete force and there has never been any one controlling it so why should there be any warlords fighting to control it?

  the 2 world war in europe was not cause by warlords. the most recent warlordism was in china during the birth of republic of china or somalia.
  
  recent ASEAN has neber seen any prominent warlords. thus i would fear ASEAN be a warmbed for terrorism than warlordism.

  Europe Union is not unify country.
  There still different countries under different presidents.
  Hilter and napolean had tried to conquer the whole europe and become one state
