So long as the govt is capable of improving our standard of living, minimise discrimination, and I can continue earning big bucks ,for all I care who is the leader. Even if he is an african, so be it. Only capable people have the mandate to lead, the mediocre should step away, even if he is a singaporean.
Yes, I am super pragmatic. Only capable people deserve deserve weath and status. If u are not capable and starve to death, so be it. By law of nature, the weak must be eliminated so that they will not hinder the progress of others.

fcuk i used to think chinese are the "ke ku nai lao" type apparantly due to the single child policy their new generations of trash are being too pampered..
my workplace im workin with a 18yr old prc for 13++hours aday 6day a week each and every hour im suffering her rants and complains together with insults of Singaporeans while i got to finish up all the shyt jobs and she is there calling up all her friends complaining on the phone each and everyday.. goddam just realize how useless some cheenas can be... really gave me an opinion that the Japanese had did the right thing during world war II..
and with hundreds of thousands of prcs infesting our land i sometimes even have the idea of blaming the Japanese for not "doing a better job" at nanking... -

Almost everyone will agree that overcrowding degrades the quality of life.

Waiting in line for a long time, waiting in traffic, or not being able to find a place to park do not add to the quality of life. In the past couple of years, it has become almost impossible to find a parking space at any shopping centre in Singapore during the weekend. The same is true at the East Coast Park, Botanic Gardens and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

Take a stroll through West Mall on a weekend, and you will see the extent of overcrowding. Once the casino, hotels and private homes are finished on Sentosa Island, VivoCity will be also be filled to the brim.

Buses and the MRT are jammed with commuters for hours during the morning and evening peak hours, and car traffic is already very heavy.

Can you imagine what it will be like when the population increases to 6 million people? All these problems will worsen, but it will be too late then, and the result will be some very undesirable conditions.

I am bewildered why people do not express their concern at the push for a bigger population. The financials that will come with a population of 6 million people may be sound, but the cost to the quality of life may not make that justifiable.

Singapore is already breaking financial records worldwide, so does it really need to push harder? Do we really want to be number one for population density?
Geylang is going to be the next PRC village. Malay village is disappearing very soon when population reach the 6 millions. -

Those that are born mentally handicapped or those with no means of earning a decent living deserve my symphathy and help. But those who prefer to rot and complain all day about FT snatching their rice bowls away deserve none.
Since I may be considered a FT, I should actually be happy that more and more young sporeans behave that way. This will make my life easier living among a group of born losers because they can never replaced me with that kind of attitude.
Btw, my occupation is not my only source of income. My investment in landed properties in Msia can still provide me a very decent lifestyle even if I were to lose my job. But again, for any typical whining sporean to take over my position....then the sun must have risen from the west.
Maybe sporean is getting more and more BUMI- like. Dun degrade to such extent. I despise those bumi putera ppl in my country. -
