Eagle, scholarship are all unique in their own ways and if you are saying that you are bonded to a company that sponsor your studies, then how do you expect anybody to do a research about it? Want to tell me which company sponsor you?Originally posted by eagle:You can't be bothered to even search for information that is widely available and you are begging me to feed you?

Are you very sure? Are you really very sure the terms and conditions are not similar? I can easily raise out a few scholarship bonds that have the same terms and conditions, can you? In fact, all local scholarship with bond have very very similar terms. Take note, I don't take into account the extra money given for those who go for student exchanges for certain scholarships. Now, show me your research that they are very uniqueOriginally posted by Gazelle:Eagle, scholarship are all unique in their own ways and if you are saying that you are bonded to a company that sponsor your studies, then how do you expect anybody to do a research about it? How did you profited $13,000 from the 2 years scholarship at NUS?

Think of this, hundreds of students get local scholarships every year. Where do you think they get their information to apply for it? Every scholarship giver is competing for talent, and with so many competition, how unique do you think the terms will be?
And since so many students around Singapore can get the information easily at hand at the age of 18 years old, are you to say that you cannot find information online that many 18 years old in Singapore can find? Don't have the face not to admit it right?

still begging for spoonfeeding when the information is widely available around?Originally posted by Gazelle:Eagle, do you understand my question?
HOW DID YOU PROFITED THIRTEEN THOUSANDS SINGAPORE DOLLARS FROM YOUR TWO YEARS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AT NUS?
I would be very interested to know where exactly is the loop hole in the terms and conditions that allows their student to over inflat their expense and proft $6,500 per year. Especially a local uni scholarship.
So you are not telling us your unit and rank, and you want me to tell you? What are you? Chief judge? (Copy gazelle)Originally posted by Gazelle:eagle,

Strictly speaking, it is near 12.5k profit.
ok, I shall give you a hint. Other than having paid for school fees, there are still other allowances. How much, you can go and research. Let me also spoonfeed you this piece of information: Every local scholarship with bond (exception of NUS's own internal scholarship) has allowance of the same amount.
Obviously you have not done any research at all, only waiting to be spoonfed, and you want to come to reason out things? I don't know what adjective to use on you. It is not even private information, it is public information that even local scholarships given by the government agencies has on their websites.![]()

Oh so you are questioning me. What are you? Chief Judge? (Copy gazelle again)Originally posted by Gazelle:Eagle,
Please dont think so highly of yourself, I am not begging you, I am question you.
Are you saying that throughout your 2 years at NUS, the only expense you have is tuition fee? and you have therefore profited $12,500?? (down from $13,000)
I would like to know as a singaporean studying in Singapore local university, how much expense do you get from your sponsor?
Eagle, are you having difficulties in explain to us your allowance in NS?Originally posted by eagle:So you are not telling us your unit and rank, and you want me to tell you? What are you? Chief judge? (Copy gazelle)

But since you asked so politely in your last sentence, I can tell you it is an allowance of $500 a month![]()

With this information, surely you can calculate with your simple maths now

We are discussing total income from scholarship after discounting the school fees, not total expenditure... Still getting mixed up in your head?![]()

Or trying to change topic?
Calculate again la... I have already given you the information, I get in 2nd year, I do honours degree. What else? 2 years indeedOriginally posted by Gazelle:Eagle,
at $500 per month x 24 months (2 year) your total allowance is $12,000.
NVM is you have inflation another $500 to make it $12,500.
Can I know why are they giving your $500 allowance? Are they suppose to cover some of the compulsory expenses such as books, exam fee, hostel fee, etc, or are you saying that $500 is your net profit and 100% goes into saving?
Eagle, $400 per month or $13.15 per day is not alot of money and it certainly cant buy you many things.Originally posted by eagle:Calculate again la... I have already given you the information, I get in 2nd year, I do honours degree. What else? 2 years indeedSimple maths

You really never study uni before ah... exam fee indeedAlready told you stay at home, hostel fee indeed
Exam books indeed
How much do you think books cost?

I already put out monthly expenditure, and thus is not related to the amount we are discussing now![]()

Eagle,Originally posted by eagle:Chief Judge? Are you having difficulties telling us your unit and rank?
Not having done any much research, analysis and thinking, you shouldn't even be reasoning.Originally posted by Gazelle:Eagle, $400 per month or $13.15 per day is not alot of money and it certainly cant buy you many things.
What you are tell me is that with $400 per months, that is enough to cover your monthly expenses inclusive of book, mobile phone bill, internet broadband, 3 meals, insurance, hostel fee, exam fees, transportation, dating with your gf, buying computer games, buying muscle enhancing pills etc?
Eagle, please be relistic lah. Every time I question you, you only can talk about new extra ordinary income, but you have never talk realistically about expense. And my gut feel is telling that your parents are paying all your bloody expenses and your all your "income" goes into your own pocket.
Please stop telling us that your $50,000 saving is not because of lau peh's $upport. And honestly I think you should be ashame of yourself for having to withdraw money from your father's CPF despite having so much money in the bank account (as your claim)
Well, I'm still awaiting for your rank and unit, something which many, including me, has asked you for many threads.Originally posted by Gazelle:Eagle,
I thought you were kpkbing about people quoting old post and transfering discussion from thread to thread.
Anyway I am still awaiting your explaination on how you are able to save $10,000 during your 2yrs 4mths in the army without your lau peh's $upport.
