What are the effective channels to speak to Govenrment ?

Just as an example.. the taxi hike .. I personally feel the Govenrment is not doing their job in controlling it. Slight and reasonable increase is okie .. but not from SGD2 peak hours to 35% of the total fare for peak hour.. this is ridiculous.
For this case, what other ways we get send our message across to the Govenrment ? Can anyone share ? Any direct email account ?? please don provide hotline or like this .. i don think that will be taken seriously or effectively ... -

What makes you think they will answer emails seriously or effectively if you think they don't answer hotlines seriously or effectively.
I only remember a best way that got its message across to the MP, which is the placing of the white elephants along Buangkok MRT line
Other than that, there are MP meet-the-people sessions in which you could meet the MP face to face to ask your questions. This is definitely better than any stupid hotlines or email accounts whom you do not even know who is answering -
Channel 5 or channel 8 also can.
U can ask 1 question, either they give u many answer or no anwser. -

there was a debate whether taxi is a public transport or a premium service.. gor goodness sake.. this is a topic to distract the public.. in real fact .. taxi is a
"PUBLIC PREMIUM TRANSPORT SERVICE"
because it is a transport service provided to the public in the public main road and yes it is premium cos it is costly and dedicated to particular individual..
So for taxi service or HDB related or SIA issues or simialar issues .. the Government has to intervene if this is not reasonable to the public..

With inflation rising, people are desparate to up their own wages and it's clear that will only fuel rising costs in all areas. Price of noodles and condensed milk have gone up. Fuel prices are soaring. Public transport has gotten relatively expensive, and our HDB prices have skyrocketed.
All this will feed the inflation frenzy to new heights (suddenly i have a strange recollection of PM Lee's famous phrase - no one will be left behind).
The govt isn't listening...wait for elections....then see if things have changed....the people's mentality i mean....not the govt. -

I'm too old for this crap... I'm leaving and I say... leave it to the New Citizens & the more Globally Mobile younger generations to deal them out in the next 2 or 3 decades - I doubt they will ever last another few decades... -

I have no objections to have the income increment for the cab drivers .. TOTALLY no objections..
As I have mentioned earlier ---> The taxi drivers are just an excuse for the taxi company to increase the taxi charges---> AN EXCUSE
They can simply reduce the rental plus slight and reasonable increase of cab fare .. this will defintely increase the income of the drivers ===> But not by HUGE increase like flat rate of 2 SGD to 35% of whole meter readings for the peak hours, and 1 SGD CBD to 3SGD CBD (200% increase) ==========================================>>>>
NOT reasonable point 1 => For the taxi company to do such a huge increase
NOT reasonable point 2 => How come Government is quiet about this ?
NOTE: The taxi drivers may looked like a winner in this hike.... BUT i am sure at the end the taxi company will increase the rental again very very soon when all have accepted the curent taxi HIKE ! -

2. why no publication of how many sg jobs created went to foreigners?
