Hi,
If someone in the public sector is at the same time holding a private sector post or receiving income , like as an advisor, somehow from private sector giant, with his influence, does this introduce any form of conflict of interest?
In the private sector, companies compete with one another.
Why would they pay someone money?
Could be for profitability.
To compete with competitors, the private sector giants would use all means and leverage.
Public sector high power may be able to influence the way the private sector giant does business.
How do you see public sector influence influencing the private sector?
Any conflict of interest ?
Personally, I would there may not be conflict of interest for obvious reasons.
But some people think there could be.
So, I no no what to do and ask lor.
In Private sectors, there's always this Celebrity fee or "consultancy fee" for that person to still represent the company. In our case there is this post created to fit this purpose.
Is this good or bad ? Or will the Patriarch presence/absence bring any good?
