i agree. practically the whole of the right side of the house are made up of political appointees.do we need mayors, seriously...
look at how malaysian government cock-up, 90 political appointees out of 199 people in the last parliament, almost half! no wonder they were inefficient.

My 'OUT' list is currently on this 2 current loud-mouthed ministers who had 2 major debacles while under their watch:
i) Wong Kan Seng
=> The escape of JI leader - MSK from ISD premises.
=> WKS is the Home Affairs Minister, and ISD is under the Home Affairs Ministry.
ii) Khaw Boon Wah
=> The screw-up of the 'old' NKF when it was under the 'rule' of TT Durai and gang.
=> While KBW was the Health Minister. NKF was under the watch of Ministry of Health.

about khaw, i think most of the stuff happened outside his tenure... so should lim hng kiang go instead? he was health minister for most of the time these things took place. it's not first time, hng kiang had alr been demoted during SARS before, to PMO.
