Why muslims prefer US liberal democracy?

  An american insight to the liberal trend in USA:
  
  That's why our Founding Fathers did not create a pure direct democracy. They correctly feared mob rule, and popular demagogues getting into office and then abrogating people's rights. So they limited the ability of the people to demand things. The people can't abrogate the Bill of Rights, for example, even if a majority want to. Democracy includes respect for other people's rights, and respect for the rule of civil law--even if at some point in time, a majority of people would prefer otherwise.
  
  Cheers for washington and the rest, though they done some wrong stuff like discrimination against colored folks, this they got it right and make USA strong

  I spoke to one of the moslem and he strongly supported democracy, telling me there no difference between republic state and democratic state....he's aliberal

  it's hard to say what around 1.5-1.6 bln people support or think. most likely that such a large group will have divergent and wide range of views.
  
  the joke is that USA is a liberal democracy. or an example of it.
