Imagine a World without Money

Do you think it would be possible ? Something like Star Trek's New World Economy.
Let us say there is a country where trade does not exist internally. Everything is provided for you by the government. Your lodging, transport, food, daily necessity etc etc. Free education for all, medical etc etc. Imagine goto a place to eat and when you are done just leave. Haha.
Will it be possible ? -
it won't be possible.
It'd be good, no more wealth, everybody's equal and stuff.
but the cons is that, should the government be one whose selfish and corrupted, that's it for the people. And also that it'd mean the people are not up to challenges if they go to the outside world. -
Yup I agree. For this to really work you need a government that is honest and efficient.
Don't know how we are going to achieve that though. Haha -

No good lah, if you oppose the regime, they will cut off supplies.

People will just not content themselves with this system. Probably resort to barter trading or something.......

money is simply just a piece of paper, if u ever realise. but how does it materialise? due to us, we, people who recognise the value of the paper.
people are willing to exchange our sweat and effort for pieces of it.
