My name is Simeon Bennett. I'm a healthcare reporter with Bloomberg News here in Singapore. I'm currently working on a story about the government's proposed amendments to the Infectious Diseases Act -- the ones that will enable them to prosecute people who don't know their HIV status but who have "reason to believe" they have HIV.
I'm looking for someone who is HIV negative, or who doesn't know their status, to comment on whether the new laws will encourage or deter them from getting tested. Will you be more or less likely to go for a test if these laws are passed?
