Every country need to have an independent council, makeup of public elected members
from a group of grassroot leaders.Their duties is to protect the interest of the public and also to keep an eye on the elected party.The elected council must be given enough power to be able to keep an watchful eyes on the elected party.
It is the duties of the public elected independent council to make sure that the elected party will not abuse their power for their own interest.
If there is without any independent body to act as behalf for the public, then the party might not answer to anyone but they themselves.Since there is no independent power to balance the party power, they can put their own men into any of the nation important positions example like the surpreme judge, the head of the Anti Corruption Department.
If the elected party is to control all the major key positions of the nation, no one will be able to keep an watchful eyes on the party movement and any abuse of power will not be met with any strong resistance since there isit any strong independent power acting for the public to counter the elected party abusement.
Setting up of 'Public Elected Independent Body' (PEIB), is not only a must if we are to progress as a nation, it will also protect our national reserves from fallen into corrupted power. -
