What citizens want - put existing taxes to good use

Taxes, whether direct personal income tax, corporate tax or indirect taxes like housing tax, vehicle tax, water tax or petrol tax are in the billions per year.
Put up accurate accounts to show the total amounts of all direct and indirect taxes collected. Show how all these various direct and indirect taxes are to be put to use.
Try to make every efforts to save costs. Do not upgrade any bill collector civil servant to GM/CEO posts paying them S$100,000.00 to S$300,000 pa where ordinary managers of $60,000.00 - S$100,000.00 can do it. Too many of the GM/CEO do not have to find revenues but are only iron-ricebowl bill collector jobs.
Do not keep taking monies to reward your own connections and at the end keep increasing taxes in order to pay these iron ricebowlers so much salaries and bonuses that government cannot provide the basic services like medical care, education, housing, transportation and utility.
Do not try to come up with any more schemes to dig into people's CPF for basic services which were originally provided out of taxes. -
I think this would reassure many citizens while giving other citizens more grounds for criticism.
