Superb Home Defense, or Over Reaction?

In this case, I would say that the Aussies were lucky we did not adopt a American mentality of wasting them before asking asking questions. The 2 Vipers we sent up were probably just and insurance policy, one to comm with the Cessna, the other to tail the bugger with a Sidewinder armed and ready to go if they do stunts.
