  I think it has some functions the previous format lacked. 1. you can check if there were posts on the thread without having to open the thread. 2. you can search your own signature to keep track of where you have posted. 3. I like the search function also. 4. It would be nice if there was an alert for when people replied to your post.

  I just noticed that they do have a "monitored post" function so you can monitor the threads you posted on.
