I don't doubt that growth is necessary. I think it's how much sustainable growth that is the issue here.
There was a projected growth target and now that target number is being re-examined. I'm not sure what the information or formulas involved were but I assume these have changed significantly.
Re-examining objectives because the relevant factors may have changed substantially is not a bad thing or a sign of weakness. I'm glad there are people concerned with and monitoring these.
As a citizen, it's more the human cost that's what I'm concerned with.

When they see the effects of overpopulation, they will be telling people to stop at 1 or maybe don't even have any kids at all.
And yes, there might be a "No Baby bonus" for couples who choose not to have kids.

at long last that somene admitted our land areas are limited. You can increase cars and population but land is limited.
If some statisticians or economists said we can hold 6.5m or more ppl, beware those staying near the coasts, they will be pushed to the seas
