I respect all views and hope to remain neutral to protect myself learning from the concept of self-preservation where the self is more important than anyother human.
I humbly think that everyone have not complained because they thrust that the money paid to 'part-timers' are actually well justified for the amount of work put in or effort. Why i say that?
because if the pay is not justified, the honorable and honest representatives of the people would have voiced out , even the 'part-timer's ' themselves. would they not? would they not voice out against themselves that their salaries are too much given to them for the time they spent or effort put in or value derived from them?
for example, wouldn't the fulltimers have voiced out strongly that the pay hikes of recent years and recently are too unnecessary as it means taking from the country more money to pay them?
they are honorable and honest men and women right?
so ,why worry?
i think the people totally agree that these people by virtue of not voicing out against their own pay hikes is a sure indication that its justified and for the good of the people.

Besides meeting the residents in their constituencies and listening to their problems on a weekly basis, I believe that MPs play an instrumental role in ensuring that the voices of those under their care are heard when Parliament convenes.
We all know that our MPs are highly-qualified professionals who have successful careers. They probably don't find the additional remuneration appealing at all, but are willing to sacrifice quite a substantial portion of their time and efforts to lead their community. For this, I respect them.

i think the future of sg will be bright as well. with so many world record talents. just look their faces. so smart. so young. just look at the things they do. their value system. if they not sacrifice and let go of world temptations means they go elsewhere earn even the more ah. many many ah. see, their value system. You future. if money paid to them inappropriate, i thrust they will voice out against their own salaly. u belief me right?
