I believe they are, else there will be no votes to count at every election.

Voting day, just go and vote lor. How each individual voter votes is non of your business.

Many singaporeans still have the old mentality...
When govt increases ERp etc, they complain....
When I ask them who they voted for, they say P**. They say they have been administering sgp for a v long time and did a great job so i vote for them to remain ruling sgp...
V contradicting!! Then when govt increases ERP, GST, etc why they still Kao Peh Kao Bu?
Since they said they did a great job after all these yrs...
haizzzz... sgp will nvr progress...
I also hate the notion of linking Elections with the carrots and threats of upgrading, more lifts etc...
These kinda facilities should be primary to estates and be given no matter, the estate is opposition or ruling party...
dun tell me residents of opposition wards dun pay taxes or less taxes...
using taxpayers' money to threaten for votes is despicable...

singaporeans want opposition parties ..... but not in their wards
i have vote for the opposition party in AMK anyway.

I will do my job in the next GE if not the GE after the next.
Just hope that LTK will able to win in the next GE

Btw, I am a civil servant myself but I still vote for the opposition..
I work for the govt, I dun work for any party...
And I vote for those who I believe in their ideas...
