Their original causes of conflicts were all historical or water under the bridge. There has to be statesmenship to promote the old godly beliefs to both sides and to me only when they could share common heritage could they eventually find lasting peace.
Go pray for world peace then or a solution to world hunger.

As long as Israel occupys arab territory and oppresses the Palestinians, there will never be peace.
The Palestinians will continue to resist Israeli occupation and oppression.
They will not kowtow to Israel.

Dear Mr. Poh Ah Pek,
It is because both sides hold opposite views that both sides till now still cannot reach peace. If both sides see the common grounds that they are all human beings born into this world to live god's will as spelt out in their respective bible or koran, then the perception can change. A new approach is needed for both sides to reach peace eventually...For now they need the help of God. So let's pray for them to work together to practise god's will as stated in the bible or koran.

Only when Israel ends the occupation of the Palestinian people can there be peace.
As long as a Palestinian lives his life under the occupation of Israel, they will resist.
As long as Israel makes the rules, as long as they call the shots, there will never be peace.

Who are we to say anything to an ancient feud? Go solve the problems of Singapore before solving the middle east issues.
Poh Ah Pak . There was never a palestine to begin with. Palestine was never even independent to begin with. That area was always part of someone's territory. The only time was when suddenly there is a big bruhaha over it is by the arabs because when israel took it as part of its territory . And let's remember - the arabs screwed up their own - not the israelis. The arabs refused to set up an independent state of Palestine.

Let's say some PRCs start to migrate to Singapore and pretty soon, they form the majority in eastern part of Singapore.
They then say they want to set up their own state in eastern Singapore.
We Singaporeans can set up one in western part.
Will you accept the PRC's terms or tell them to fuck off and resist?

Read history before trying to twist it. 1949 Armistice Agreement - between Israel and its neighbors Egypt , Jordan,Lebanon , and Syria settled on the agreement that Palestine was not a distinct territory. They divided the region up and soaked it into their territory. Egypt , Jordan, Lebanon , Syria are arab countries and they would be in a better hand to negotiate for an independent palestine which they did not.
Palestine is just a piece of territory , not some formerly annexed independent country . And Singapore is an independent country - not like Palestine.

it will never happen...if it did.....malaysia and indonesia would probably take action........

It already happened, indonesia took action against Singapore, luckily they also wanted Malaya. And Malaysia really never thought Singapore could survive, so they took no action believing it would die of naturally death, but then Singapore survived and prosper.
