Sometimes i wonder, if we compare ourselves with Indonesian or the Philipinos or the Burmese, Singaporeans life are much much better then them.We got plenty of jobs on our hand, good education for our kids, good secrurity(excluding the JI toliet breaker case) in our country,a clean government(although not 100% clean) and abit of so called welfare system(although not 100% welfare).
So, should we just stay happy with our government?The Pro PAP Singaporeans will of course stay happy and will scold us back if we ask for abit more freedom.They will try to brainwash us with things like...., look at the Indonesia, we are so lucky our government are not like them.
Ok, i had to admit too, we consider ourselves better in terms of the standard of living we are better than them.And our government at least are better than them too.
This i have to admit.But must we be content with all this?What if our government make use of this kind of mentality among us?I really don't know.I really hope everyone of us here will come and debate deeply on this subject... should we just stay like this or should we change the government?Please debate now!!!
