MM Lee's anti-welfarism rhetoric now raised new welfarism

So it is confirmed what MM Lee said 40 plus years ago that we cannot go for welfarism is now proven wrong.
If he wanted this kind of self-reliance government must at least do not over-tax the people to the hilt so that people can still survive,
So today his anti-welfarism rhetoric has come a full cycle with his own MPs saying there is no choice but it has to be done to prevent people jumping off MRT due to over-taxing and dropping wages a product of the original "no welfarism" bullshit.
Today the enlightened welfarism amounting to S$330 pm for the single jobless is not based on free rides but it is welfarism to correct the wrongful overtaxing and under-spending of taxes which caused such widespread economic plight.

No one is willing to be flexible to amend the policy despite numerous feedback from the mass.
If they are paid so much, and they cannot even resolve a simple taxi issue, they dun deserve their salary as they create more leak when they try to mend one leak.
