Why we have few talents even if we pay millions

Why good people are often sidelined or treated poorly till they decided to step down or resign to make way for lesser people? This alone tells us citizens that autocracy is the primary cause of our inability to retain talents or good people. So when we are constantly brainwashed we need to retain good talents and pay them millions it is full of lies. The current system discourages good people to come forward to contribute to changes or diversities as Ngiam Tong Dow put it as there is too strong a autocracy refusing to give way to good people in solving problems resulting in perpetual rising costs of living under all kinds of conceptual overzealous protectionism like welfare or meritocracy etc which actually were of no problems in the first place given our taxing and withholding services to the people. Hence we can see the constant over-zealous auto-piloting of many policies leading to charging of citizens for every cent to recover full costs for all services lead to stifling of the economy for years. We need to establish a distributable leadership where good people openly supported by good and unselfish MPs who think independently in their own way against any one-man-show autocracy exerting too much control for his own glory or purpose. This type of one-man-show has resulted in our being unable to have good people to come up with alternative to perpetual charging of all costs under the over-zealous and selfish taxing and profiteering schemes employed by HDB and LTA and all GLCs. Because of one-man-show good people have time and again been unable to contribute to solving problems leading to breakdown as a team to solve more problems. It is not that we cannot find people of talents but rather good people will leave as they would feel unmotivated to serve if they are not allowed to excel

  It is only in our world's best leadership that we can find ministers who are so incompetent yet they would still appear remorseless and unabashed on TV so many times and talk big about his going to catch the one-leg limping terrorizing mass-murder criminal who could simply escape from our high-security prison in such a shameful way - through the toilet bowl.
  
  It looks like the mediocre ministers in some Scandinavian countries might not be as smart in preventing such super-escape by a limping prisoner or conducting TV interview or mass jungle search any way?

  Couldn't have put similar thought in better words that yours.

  IMO, besides the wishful thought of an effective opposition, only the eventual factionization within the PAP will propel the Singapore polticial scene forward from the ever stagnant state of Lee-clan domination.

  Cracks will always appear and only to be forcefully closed by the omni-presence MM Lee. What PAP are left with now are fat vultures and parasitic leeches. The problem of this constant mending effort and fat-pays to retain "civil-servants" will not last under ever growing pressure of wealth gap.
