goes both ways. if you wish to demand it on the teacher, then why are we letting students go for being rude and disrespectful to school authority?
personally i think it can be fun to have a mildly sarcastic teacher. who shoots funny remarks and one liners now and then.
depend on the age group ? Primary school is out.
The world out there can be more unforgiving.

Eh Satire better.
No Satire means no Jon Steward or Cobert Report and some portions of Jack Neo.
Kurmit Singh is a complete sellout though.
In the first place if the education system is good it will have answers to such issues and problems like who is the educator and who is the educated.
Of a child or his parent knows his duty and responsibility so well as assumed in many situation of rudeness and counter-rudeness retaliation he would be better educated than the school system the teacher and ministry so he does not need to enter the education system to be taught.
Holistic approach in education will take into consideration all such problems like rudeness of student or his parent, how to avoid certain responses which may be counter-productive and inviting more headaches and etc and how to handle a untenable situation like who should be the one to educate and apply measures necessary to counsel and educate and help to get unbalanced individuals back to correct path and good behavior.
If we are to go back to past cases we will always find no answers or solutions. We only find controversy ending with citizens confused who is right who is wrong and guessing who should be punished more without looking at the education context.
This reflects the hypocrisy of our media and the education ministry with the million-dollar heads not being too proactive to tackle problems at the root.
What else can we citizens expect of the whole system is if it is run by lawyers who always reserve for themselves the posture to stay in the legal right for their own interest.
Under such a hypocrite system will citizens ever be served even if we keep paying higher and higher dues.
I think it would be a good idea to get rid of PAP for 5 years.
They will wake up their fucking attitude.
Look at KMT, they were out of power for 8 years, now not so cocky as before.
Let us get rid of PAP in the next general elections.
I think that is a wise move.
The topic is about sacarcism and not about politics.
