Hi everyone! Thanks for answering to this question. I m a student and currently am doing a project on youths of Singapore and their views of the world at large. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Pls also tell me what's your concept of the world.

i think the majority of singaporeans (myself included) know little abt the rest of the world.
What they do hear abt is unimportant and what they dun hear abt is irrelevant.
Ignorance is a bliss.... -
Singapore - Home, where else can I go?
USA - Too big/powerful to NOT step on people's toes. Friendly people, if not bright. =)
Malaysia - Thinks the world revolves around them. Occassionally friendly, occassionaly a pain in the A**. Good place for cheap shopping and drinks.
Indonesia - Got potential, just that they are too dumb and lazy to tap them. It seems they prefer rioting in the streets over developement.
Thailand - Nice place for vacation.
Japan - Really cute looking girls. Excellent BBGun manufacturers.
S.Korea - The girls in Seoul are like *MODELS*. Corrupt politicians, lousy economy.
N.Korea - "N" for Nuclear.
PRChina - Tries to play smart too much at times. But not smart enough to realise EP-3s and similar variety of aircraft (747s, Dumptrucks.) do not excecute sharp turns that can run down nimble fighter Jets.
ROChina - Unbelievably stupid variety shows. Anymore of them and I'll encourage them to embrace communism.
Israel - Centre of world politics these days.
Saudi Arabia - Believed to fund several terrorist networks. Refer to Egypt.
Egypt - Refer to Iran.
Iran - Refer to Iraq.
Iraq - Refer to Syria.
Syria - Refer to Jordan.
Jordan - Refer to Collective arab nations.
Collective arab nations - Terrorists/and Supporters.
West Bank - Next area to be used for Nuclear Testing.
How do young Singaporeans view the world? Looks pretty screwed up to me. -

How I view the world?
The world has evolved over a century. Humanity has exploited the technology and used it for their own selfish needs. In this world, the rule of thumb is, the strong will become stronger and the weak will perish.
Sooner, or later, humanity will perish because of their exploitation of technology and the wrong uses of it.
Just my 2 cents worth...

well, this kinda question, huh... some people may not like the way some people answer, but anyways.. regarding any questions, you gotta be 'transparent' right.. check things out in a non-biased way, and realistic.
Anyway, world... you make it sound so abstract... but if it refers to the whole world, yeah I guess that's fine.
You know, I honestly say that the world now possesses all these: corruptive governments, more wild and destructive nature with less consciousness, advanced technology, and of course, morally degraded.
Ok fine, it's bullshit if in the past eras there are no such points, all I can say is that through the history, it's getting worse and worse. I say morality, not cruetly. Cruetly is less of course, due to well, we're not that primitive anymore. But of course, some people in Indonesia actually don't seem to be very much different from the people in Qin dynasty. yep, except that now, they'd rather call it a 'religious war'.
Nonsense ok? Fanatics here n there, they go whatever their flow goes.

Those suicdie bombers are promised to meet a lot of sexy n pretty goddesses in the heaven if they're gonna be 'martyrs'.
Found out yet? No? Come on! Think of it, going to heaven with some 'wordly' reasons, are u fit enuff to go to heaven?
Next, those Indonesian women are so crazed due to the September's incident that they support Afghan n everything. Yet they don't even know how ... ugly (personally) it is for the women who live in Afghan.
Ok, the world now is transparent and they are sick. What makes me sick even more is that because of this, they'll say: "Uh, yeah, I'm sick. So?"
Heh.. should I actually use my personaly comments.. or should I tell u the status of this world? It's very 'abstract' for some. Well, but the more u think of it, for me, the more I'll get pissed off. -
Heard of the cities of Gemorrah and Sodom in the Christian Bible? I find that the world nowadays has become just like those cities...except in a much larger magnitude.
-People view money, fame and power more important than love.
-Having premarital sex or adultery and enjoy it like there is no tomorrow. (view it as if nothing at all)
-Practice homosexuality and incest.
-Corrupted governments.
-No feelings for compassion
-Harbouring hates and angers.
Look at it, the world has turned into such a hostile place. Full of anger and violence. Everyone is so self-centered!
If we will never learn from the mistakes we made, sooner or later...this world is going to meet its downfall. Just like Sodom and Gemorrah.
I'm not trying to preach or something like that...that is not my intention.
