The minister saying that the beer promoter has a certain charm in the coffee shop to attract customer is not wrong but fuzzy logic.
Correct me if I am wrong. Typically, beer promoter works on the sales commission principle depending on the number of beer they sell, not withstanding to the wages of the drink seller.

The idea for Jurong as regional centre was mooted many years ago. LBH and his gang have not done anything for Jurong all this while. Just sitting and getting their fat salaries. Last election was a walkover and where was he after the results? Canvasing for other contested areas! The ideas for the respective MPs to serve their constituents was with walkover and that's it. No further need to visit or any handshaking required.
It would take another 10-15 years for the whole areas to be developed as planned. Imagine, how many of us would be retired to enjoy the fruits of these improvements.
