7 Possible Actions Gan Kim Yong may take to beat recessions
robertteh
Min Gan Kim Yong has learned very fast from the fellow ministers to push away problems and absolve himself of any incompetencies or complacency by saying in advance that in the event of anothe recession he is not responsible and that raising of salary is not the way to solve problems of recessions.
Why is he so negative in his mindset ? Are they really no solutions in his mind to overcome problems of the past which often brought about business relocations Lee Swee Say is saying now taking place.
The
following are 7 possible measures Mr. Gan Kim Yong may take if he has
the talent to avoid another recession or help citizens to lower costs
of living and businesses to survive and prevent their relocations:=
(1) Sack all the incompetent and complacent people in every ministry like the ones who allow escape of terrorist prisoners.
(2) Stop further salary increases of the ministers and top civil
servants who were have been proven of lesser ability than counterpart
in private sector or who are unable to get an equivalent job with
equivalent or higher salaries in the private sector.
(3) Do away with high sounding posts like CEOs in GLCs and Temasek
and GICs and substitute them with down-to-earth bill collector
positions since they do not bring in their own revenues to pay for
their salaries or create jobs like the equal in the private sector.
(4) Practise hire and fire HR measures to get rid of dead wood who
despite 5 figure salaries are not solving problems as found in large
number in the recent fire fiasco in hougang, ERP fiasco in LTA and
Whiteley Mas Selamat toilet bowl escape.
Fire all the CEOs who lost people's hard-earned monies in Shin Corp and Global Crossing or UBS.
(5) Stop over-taxing and over-charging the citizens by hiding the
huge land sale profit of $6 billions and deceiving the parliament into
raising the GST to 7% causing the latest unprecedented inflation to the
majority of citizens.
(6) Stop hoarding monies from withholding basic housing and medical
and utility and transport services citizens are entitled to under taxed
services.
(7) Stop double-charging and profiteering n lands and
infrastructures against the people since lands and infrastructures were
already paid for by the people under taxation. Cut down on all
extravagant projects to house every ministry with its own new building
and make fullest use of our vacant lands and empty buildings to produce
incomes and jobs for the people.
