Well since it is not like the Hawaian islands so losing the other two rocks is no sweat..Main thing is the Pedra Branca issue.

Yes I think its damn stupid to split the rocks to 2 different ownerships but maybe its only fair to give something rightfully back to the Malaysians.Just hope they dont start to kwailan later.

Implication of the ICJ Decision
The decision by the ICJ to award Pedra Branca to Singapore but to decide that Middle Rocks belongs to Malaysia is seen as a Pyrrhic victory. This is because the issue now turns to ownership of the surrounding territorial waters which would be hotly contested due to the close locations of both geographical feature.

To me this ruling is nothing short of a slap in the face.

Remember these names. They are the four sailors who died in 2003 in the waters of Pedra Branca.
If any Singaporean can say that they died defending the sovereignty of this country, these four women can. These islands are worthless pieces of rock in the ocean, but because they have been sanctified by the blood of Singaporeans, they have worth beyond measure.
And now we hand the South Ledge and Middle Rocks to Malaysia. A country that jeered and scorned these four, whose media treated with contempt, whose deaths their citizens celebrated. We hand back these rocks on a platter for these animals, who have done nothing to earn them. In the end the sacrifice of Singaporean lives has meant nothing. Nothing.
Think about this the next time a Malaysian serves you in a shop or restraunt, and you will throw your kopi into his foul face. -

Listened to the CNA live, heard the judge said 12-4 ruling in favour of Pedra Branca to Singapore and 15-1 ruling in favour of Middle Rock to Malaysia. Not sure though. Let's move on! -
