When a local forumer starts complaining about how some Singaporeans are inconsiderate, how difficult our economy situation is and how bad our government is, everyone starts joining in and say 'ya ya, how true'.
When an apparent foreign forumer does the same thing, everyone starts pulling the trigger to their flame-thrower.

This shows that Singaporeans will unite together against hostile foreign forces.
If foreigners criticises your country and you agree with him, I think even the foreigner will have no respect for you.

been working in singapore for more than 1 year I am foreigner I realized just after a couple of months that Singaporeans are really stupid, why I am saying this is because when taking the MRT every morning, people inside already inside the train dont move inside to allow new passengers to get in they just standing there and dont move down at all so you insist and say sorry by pushing and trying squeeze yourself a little bit but they look at you and keep holding their position. Really stupid attitude and manner.
This is true. MRT is pack like sardine.
When applying to a job, either you got overqualified for the positon or we dont have the money to pay you because you are well-educated foreinger with master degree they can not afford paying you. what makes funny is when Mentor Lee Kew Yew said "We need more talents to cope with increasing jobs offers and we dont have enought people to take up all the jobs" fucking not true at all, on the field it is the way round when sending resume over got no interviewed at all and I am really qulified not talking shit like mister LKY.
Recently, new paper actually says that paper degree doesnt mean you get increment. Besides, there are more graduates nowsaday, supply greater than demand. sometimes TS should ask thing like, (1) what is considered as talent? (2) what are the jobs that still need people?
Pay remaining the same and living cost keep increasing at least 40 higher than last year. how can you survive in this stupid country. The condom is more expensive in Singapore than London but in London you get paid 3 times more than Singapore. how stupid is that ?
what I can see Singapore is going to sink quickly not the government but poor Singaporeans with 800 to 1000 SGD per month per family what can they do more than suicide?
800 to 1000 SGD per month per family - that's really horrible. TS must notice that there are many old people out there selling tissue and picking empty drink cans. did you see this happening in your country?

sorry to say - we are ... you know! his letter aside.... but think about it; we complain abt our govt so much but in the end, the same govt remains
i'm refering to the 60% ++ still its the majority. -

Personal experience, Sg doctors are better than Foreigner doc. Sg docs are more responsible and making you feel more comfortable. FT doctors?? Nowsaday like more and more indo, india, fillipina doc..
Besides, why is MRT so crowded also bcos of many foreigners taking the MRT.

judging from the response generated by such a simple fact as a topic header..i cant help but agree wor..saying singaporeans stupid stirs emotions from "singaporeans" to flame back. is this patriotism or just afraid that one will be regarded the same as other stupid singaporeans??
academically,singaporeans are not stupid since all they can do is memorize n vomit it back during exams.unfortunately, thats pretty much what they can do too. coupled with brain washing frm the leaders..thats why "foreign Talents" are pawning singaporeans.not in terms of abilities work wise,but the mental battle is won without much fight too..
