Are not the surpluses boasted about actually derived largely from over-taxing people, with double and triple transport and housing taxes and profiteering schemes by all the GLCs on every possible service government should have provided from taxes collected and NKF-style hoarding of taxes.
Can proper evidences be provided by the government to show that even without such double and triple taxations and profiteering the government has on its own talents and abilities built up the current surpluses which were lately dwindling by more than $20 billions due to unaccountable and careless investments on overseas projects like Shin Corp, Global Crossing and UBS etc.
