will singapore become EU if its still under british???i believe we could be better off than now, just look at hk. it is not only as good as us in many areas but exceeded us in some fields. it is as competent and effiecient but has more entreprenuers and its people enjoy greater freedom.
i don't think a colony qualifies to join eu.

i think if by now we are still under british than perharps at somepoint in the last decade MY would have ask British to return the island back to MY.
