LKY said it again - do not expect subsidy

Which service is being subsidised by the government ? Low cost housing? Medical or Utility? Just name one?
For years LKY has been putting up such a propaganda that government is subsidising government services.
On the other hand, is the government not over-taxing and profiteering in through HDB selling low-cost housing at market price on lands already paid for by citizens with tax monies? Is selling of low cost housing at market price on lands already paid by citizens a subsidy?
Mah Bow Tan called such low cost housing subsidized. When queried he pretended it is market subsidy meaning subsidy below market price is to him a subsidy when HDB is in fact making huge profits. The profits were not shown in HDB account due to creative accounting being practised transferring the profits to the Singapore Land Authority before the sale.
If government taxes the people through public housing and double charging on lands etc while holding back on spending for provisions of basic government services is any rebates or discount given really subsidy.
For 40 plus years he has been calling such discounts or rebates subsidy and now he is still using the same shameful method to increase tax fees and prices. So all can see why citizens are getting poorer and poor and many are migrating to get out of such an oppressive society.
This is the root of much of citizens' suffering trying to live with rising costs caused by sucking of monies for every service using the excuse of no free lunch and no subsidy when it is profiteering all the time at the expense of citizens.
