I think MM Lee did gave Dr. Chee a good one the other day. He say that Dr. Chee is the one who destoryed SDP. And I think MM is right about it. Just look at SDP today? No one is interested to listen to his speech anymore because he has lost his credibility. Even the Kopitiam auntie and uncle are starting to give up hope on him.

There is no need to fight lah..all we need is just to have a slight balance of power. The only thing I really hate about PAP is to use Upgrading as a carrot to win vote. And fortuntely they failed the last time.

I'm utilitarian in general. If sacrifices have to be made for the greater good, I'm in favour. If you are sacrificed, blame the fact that you aren't good enough. Survival of the fittest. I apply this rationale to myself when i meet failures too. That's how the world works.

It's precisely behaviour like this that weakens the quality of oppositions. The regime has a history of suppressing oppositions, therefore very very little good candidates engage in politics. If you do not encourage the growth of opposition, wherefore will the good quality candidates come in.
It's only when this regime loses it's death grip, therefore less suppression, that new quality candidates will step in.

Mau, looking at the rate PAP is going, there is never going to be any chance that the leegime is going to lose its grip.
They will go to every possible extent to get at the opposition. Remember, democracy and human rights are questionable in Singapore.
