Obviously Maurizio doesnt know that almost 100% of the raw material use to generate electricity in Australia are produced locally. Whereas for Singapore, we have no choice by to relies on overseas supplies.
I wonder why Maurizio only wants to limit his comparison on electricity and not include water.

They need to bleed to commoners to pay for losses suffered at Merrill Lynch, Global Crossing, Suzhou Industrial Project, Shin Corp and Optus.
If keep handing out subsidies, very soon their coffers will run dry, because they have too much losses to cover. So obviously the losses has to be made good through other means.

... this is the problem; there is no one, and there can be no one allowed, to run checks on how or what they use our money on or for ...

Don't worry, we have "very qualified" folks up there checking on the accountability and transparency. The PM's family members.
They haven't found any errors or misstatements in the accounts, so therefore they are credible, safe and reliable. ![]()
I have full faith in their competency. ![]()
I also hope that in the future, they will do away with statutory audits in listed companies and let the CEO family members provide accountability in how the funds are used. ![]()
