It was reported in ST that Dr Chee (S J) was very eloquent during the cross-examinations of MM and PM in court. Not surprising. What a pity we cannot see the LIVE telecast of the debate, or debacle
Put aside ill wills, hatred and yes, POLITICS and listen to the choice of words and the manipulation therein. It is certainly an education - and/or enjoyment - for many of us. Too bad, but for obvious reasons, we only get to see a grossly tilted report from our local papers.
Is there anyway we can get to see the unedited text of the entire proceeding ???

You think what, Taiwan independent media?
People on TV can only either
(a) Praise Lee Kuan Yew
(b) Agree with Lee Kuan Yew.
You want to criticise or disagree with Lee Kuan Yew, you will never be on our state propaganda TV.

... come to think of it, how much damages and or any less powerful or poorer have the Lees become as the result of Dr Chee's article? Have they become less influential? Have the world discreditted them already? Were their reputation spotless to the eyes of the world in the first place?
... I think they appear to be unscathed..
... What damages then? Who in this court battle is more damaged you think?
... obviously, the truth is too telling to publish in the state controlled papers....
