With the collapse of Freddie and Fannie, AIG, Lehman, and BofA's takeover of MLynch the crisis looks like coming to an end but how is it coming to an end?
In BofA case, they printed share certificates to buy MLynch.
The US government printed more money to take over Freddie and Fannie and AIG.
In a concerted worldwide central bank move (read, we might as well all print more money, why should only the US be allowed to do it) they pushed up the markets.
It is now anyone's guess where all the extra money will go... place your bets but don't bet the house and end up homeless.... (if you took my advice and sold when this thread first started and have spare cash)
If you are interested to know, I went back into the markets yesterday to buy (long).
