1000 locals migrating to other countries n giving up their citizenship is a serious matter. Some of those locals coming back mentioned some of the trouble fitting
back into the local lifestyle such as the provincial attitude of the local never stayed in other countries.

Actually is this a singapore problem or a global problem? If you take a look at Singapore Expat forum, there are actually many people from all over the world moving to singapore, just like singaporeans moving overseas.

The troubling part is the govt take this migration as a serious problem n with 150000 locals in other countries refusing to come back due to several reason such as
education or NS policy. It seemed there are more people moving to other countries than people coming in.

Please read last Saturday's ST. It is quite interesting to read about how locals staying in other countries being viewed by locals back.
It's a sad pity that of late from the majority of your posts, it clearly seems to be that you're on the all out train of flaming which is in fact leaning towards jealousy. These are my last few words which would have dealt a blow to your nature. Have a nice day, you can carry on flaming, there's no more to it as i have had the final say.
Post as much as you want to satisfy yourself that i may not be earning that much of an amount but that's just you and only you in your mind.

yes, i did read the article, but there is nothing new, just a summary events and statistic that were published rom the past 15 years. I believe the main concern with the government right now is recruiting future leaders for the country, not so much of not having enough talents to support the economy.

I think the govt got scholars from the SAF to be the future generation leader unless these SAF scholars quit after their contract n migrate to other countries.

The same work for this forum too. You can lie through your nose if you want, just dont call me a troll when you are caught lying.

The recent ST article about nurturing political leader from non traditional institutes like polytechnic somehow tells me there is a shift in their policy on future leaders.

There has been an outflow of poly graduates to other countries for university study n some of them never came back. They cannot get into local university.
